More about me:
I’ve been working in the textiles industry for well over a decade now. After studying textiles and pattern design at York St. John University, I worked as an in-house designer for a digital textile manufacturer in Manchester, which saw me work with a wide range of clients from large high street brands to small designer-makers. This experience was invaluable, helping develop my creative confidence and giving me a strong understanding of commercial design. After beavering away on my own collections in my spare time, I decided to take the leap and go solo in 2017, creating my own brand: Natalie Laura Ellen.
I’ve been making lampshades using my fabric designs for a good few years now and always find them so satisfying to create. My lampshades are available to purchase in a selection of shops around the UK and via my website.
